Anger Room

source: http://www.angerroom.com/ A company which provides an alternative to seeing a ‘head doctor’ or talking it out when you’re having a bad day. It’s a place where you can let your hair down, gear up and destroy real-life mocked rooms that simulate an actual workplace, living area or kitchen. Complete with dummies, mannequins, TVs, tables and many, many more breakable items which people donate or purchased at steep discounts at garage sales. it mention that “does not claim to be a mental help or medical facility, we do not treat, give diagnosis or provide medical therapy of any kind. We are classified as entertainment only”

“Most people only last between two and three minutes on average,”. When a customer requests 25 minutes, and actually uses all of it, Alexander considers it a red flag. “That’s when it’s time to suggest they look into real therapy,” she says.

THis project consists on the conceptualization and development of a brand identity and experience from a platform (3 platforms,  a mobile application(as shown in this video), a website and a collection of fanzines) that shares, recollects, destroys the annoying and anger experiences of Londoners in a witty way. The project explores the behaviour of a person when is hating something from a social perspective and explores the most common annoyances of Londoners.

With the information taken from the Mobile App and the website every month a fanzine comes out talking about want topic only.
In the issues the topic is chosen depending on the most popular ones seen in the website. It also appears the “destroyed” pictures of the users with their caption.

The Everyday People Project

A digital installation featuring candid conversations with “everyday” people. These video conversations covers a lot of different topics which people might face everyday. I think it is a good project for people to talk about themselves, what problem and stress they face everyday, even better to do it for time to time and you can compare the difference of yourselves. Below is one of the video, you can see the changes of this person, getting happier.

Experience Project

As the world’s largest living collection of shared experiences and the premier passions-based network, experience project is a comfortable and supportive place for individuals to share and connect with others around the things that matter to them most. I love the idea of this project. It is a website with 24 categories for us to share our experience, our problems in our daily life. People around the world can response to what we shared and give advice, you will feel that there are someone our there facing the same problem with you and it isn’t a big deal. It is alike writing your own blogs, the difference is the number of viewer of your post.

The Commuter Code An useful project which can lessen the stress of people on the road, you learn the things you need to be aware of and your responsibility, this can avoid a lot of troubles and lessen your stress.

“With everyone having an understanding of the Commuter Code we can significantly reduce road casualties and other dangerous accidents. Reducing the harsh situation of the roads is a responsibility that we all face and share.”

Anger Management

Annoyed, angry, furious, outraged, going mad? Use this tool-kit & get rid of it!! Write your problem down on paper and set it on fire. Goodbye nasty feeling!!” What I think of this project is, it is not environment friendly, but inspires me too.

Memory of Anger & Dissatisfaction

The idea of making Memory of Anger & Dissatisfaction ring is to create something beautiful about anger, so that people can wear it everywhere. The idea behind the rings are the action of crushing the papers when we get angry.

Comedy Central Ad

“Anger Management show staring Charlie Sheen aired on Jan 2013. The challenge was that only a LoRes image of him and fonts were provided. So I approached the minimalist look and did some illustrations.” The minimalist illustrations seems inspiring although it isn’t any great design but it’s an example.

Violence between sexes

some illustrations which inspires me

Stress Relief Grip Clip

This is a student project given the brief :

Design a Magazine Advertisement for your fictional product based on a paper clip. Really see this fictional design as a product, and sell it.

well, it inspires me that there’s a lot a grip clip can do! even a small tiny things around us can release stress and anger.

Be Nice

Student work. Two print ads and an interactive board. “Be Nice,” a campaign sponsored by the ad council to discourage anger in children.

This indoor billboard from the Ad Council incorporates Microsoft Kinect technology to bring viewers a more interactive and impactful message. The board acts as a mirror, when a person approaches, the Kinect sensor builds their digital skeleton, and applies a dynamic monster-skin overlay.
